PolyOne expanding the development of 3D printing materials

PolyOne, a global provider of specialized polymer materials, services and solutions is participating in a three year development project with university and industry experts. The target area for this collaboration is to develop advanced polymer materials that will be used in specialty applications for the aerospace and automotive industry.

Ohio Third Frontier, the creator of the initiative granted US$ 3 million to this technology based economic initiative via the University of Dayton Research Institute. Other participants include GE Aviation, Rapid Prototype & Manufacturing Inc. (RP+M) and Stratasys.
